- These articles seem like they're always late, at least in regards to gas prices in my area. Three weeks ago, I paid $3.59/gallon and now it's jumped back up about 25 cents since then. I think articles like this are useless at this point.

- The GS troops in my area aren't very active in selling cookies. I used to be a Girl Scout, and we were out selling every weekend during cookie time. It's a shame that some areas apparently don't do much. Either way, I learned a lot from being a Girl Scout and to me it's still a great organization.

- People who got their tax refunds spent it, and they bought lots of clothes and housewares. At least this is what I've seen at work(I'm a cashier).
